Monday
My Easter Monday was spent changing nappies as Iyla had a tummy bug. I think I did 15 in a day which is more than when she was a newborn! My friend came round to visit in the afternoon which was nice as I haven’t seen her for ages.
Tuesday
Iyla was still a bit ill so we just lounged around the house. She even fell asleep downstairs on the sofa which never happens!
Wednesday
Luckily Iyla was better so we went into town and looked around the shops, then came home and made my 17 year old brother a birthday cake. In the evening we went to watch Titanic 3D which was amazing. I used to be obsessed with Leonardo Dicaprio when I was a teenager so I had to go and see it. It made me feel really old though because it was full of young girls watching it for the first time, I’d seen it FIFTEEN YEARS previously. When did I get so old?!
Thursday
We went over to Dad2BabyInsomniac’s sisters house for lunch. Then in the evening we went over to my mums for dinner where Iyla spent most of her time on my brother’s keyboard!
Friday
We went over to my friends house in the morning for an Easter gathering. It was really sunny so we went and sat in the garden. I tried to have an early night in preparation for my London trip on Saturday but ended up having the worst nights sleep ever!
Saturday
Woke up at 4.45 in order to leave the house and make it to Bristol for my 7am train to. I went up to the Save The Children conference which I have an upcoming post about but it was a really good day. I met Lucy and Katie before walking to the venue and spent the day with them, they are both lovely and I also met lots of other bloggers. I didn’t get home until 8.30pm so it was a long day but Dad2BabyInsomniac was cooking me a homemade burger when I walked in the door which was greatly appreciated! I had a bath and then watched The Voice on catch-up. I love it!
This is a photo that Dad2BabyInsomniac sent me, he had taken Iyla to a museum while I was gone. I have no idea what he has dressed her in though, although I guess the mis-matched outfit could be due to the fact that her shoes and most of her clothes were in my car, which is also known as our wardrobe!
Sunday
On Sunday I had a lie-in as I was really tired then we went and drove around a few villages near Bath as we are looking at moving house.

Sounds like a lovely week bar Iyla being poorly and Saturday sounds like amazing fun
I always fear for what Mr E puts Mads in, normally I get them out before hand but if I don’t she normally ends up in the most random mis matched outfits! x

Glad to hear that Iyla is feeling better. How exciting to go to the Save The Children event in London, I’m going to blog camp on Saturday and I’m super excited/nervous.
