When I was a little girl I used to love opening the door in the morning to bring the milk in, especially as it meant I got to pour the creamy bit off the top onto my cereal before my sister did.
Things have changed quite a lot since then and you can now have any number of things delivered by your milkmen. milk&more are part of the Dairy Crest group and have over 250 everyday essentials to choose from making it a great place to get your groceries online.

We have actually been having our milk delivered by milk&more for the last year. I was so preoccupied in the early days of being a mum and was frequently forgetting to buy milk – something which is disastrous when you wake up after two hours sleep and realise you can’t have a cup of tea.
Dad2BabyInsomniac took a bit of persuading due to the fact that we live opposite a supermarket but the other reason I like having milk delivered is because it limits the amount of plastic bottles we get through so eventually I got him to agree. It was either that or he was going to be the one that had to go out in his pyjamas – not much chance of that happening!

We don’t ‘usually’ order anything other than milk because we live so near to a supermarket but if we didn’t I would end up taking full advantage of their product range. You can get all your essentials and they even do pet food and fruit delivery. And I was quite surprised to discover that it’s not actually any more expensive than running out to your local convenience store.

There is no delivery charge, no minimum order requirement and you can use it as little or as much as you like.

I really do think it’s a great company and I have been known to sneak the odd box of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes onto my order (you can add to your order up to 9pm the night before your next delivery), without telling Dad2BabyInsomniac of course!

We love milk and more. I’ve used them for the past 3 years, ever since Joseph developed a shreddies addiction and went through milk like nothing on earth! Our milkman is lovely and always waves to the children. It’s fab too when we run out of butter x
