The weather has been so amazing this week, it has actually been like having a holiday because two days were too hot to anything other than lie in the shade!
On Monday we went and had lunch in a cafe with a really nice little garden so Iyla could run around while we ate.
On Tuesday we spent the day in the garden as the weather was so nice. Iyla loved playing in her sand pit and paddling pool and I painted our fence.
On Wednesday we went over to Dad2BabyInsomniac’s sisters house for lunch and spent all afternoon in the garden.
On Thursday, I had to take Dad2BabyInsomniac to the hospital for his appointment so me and Iyla went and looked around the shops for a bit and found lots of bargains for our holiday in a couple of months. To my utter amazement Dad2BabyInsomniac phoned me and said that he was standing on his foot, it was supposed to be another four weeks before he could bear weight, hence my surprise! When we got home, my friend came over for lunch and we sat in the garden again while Iyla played in her paddling pool.
On Friday I woke up and felt rubbish plus I had lost my voice so we didn’t do much, just sat around in the garden.
On Saturday we went to the beach as it was a bit cooler. Iyla absolutely loved it, she went from jumping around in the water to playing with sand to playing with stones and had a great time. Then on the way back we stopped for lunch in a little pub.
On Sunday I decided I wanted to paint my living room and bathroom so I went to B and Q and stocked up on paint. I love painting! Looking forward to it being finished now though, it’s not that easy when you have a toddler running around!
Gorgeous pictures! And I know what you mean about the painting. I recently did up some old furniture and it took about 4 times as long as it would have done minus a toddler in tow!
